There's still so much that could be said about our last tour, but one of the best parts about the trip was getting to hook up some huge shows with some of our best friends Annabel and Joie De Vivre on the way down to Texas and at SXSW. On the road with them was filmmaker/enthusiast/all-around-rad-dude Matt Youngblood who is working on putting together a documentary on DIY music culture.
Matt's done work with Joie before, which you may be familiar with, and he recently put together a trailer for his latest effort. It looks amazing and I wanted to share it with you. There's even about four seconds of live footage of us in there.
You can find out more on the project as it develops through the DIY or Not facebook page.

Reptilian Empire
We're back! Just wrapped up our two and a half weeks of touring with Empire! Empire! and it feels great to be home, especially after a homecoming show like the one we had last night at the Strutt.
The tour was a wild success.
Made some new friends along the way...
Saw some old friends as well...
Experienced some amazing hospitality...
And partied. Hard.
All praise be to Malthar.

Welcome to February
Is it as snowy for you as it is for us?
We've got a show this Friday with a ton of friends including the best budes/best band Joie De Vivre. This was going to happen in Sturgis but when the show wasn't coming together and in danger of not happening, our boy Jack stepped in and moved it to Generic in South Bend. Thank goodness for good people.
Get ready to get your carpool on this weekend...

And the next...
Dan is going to be filling in on bass for Empire! Empire! at this show. Besides, you would just be a darn fool to miss a lineup this good. Plus, the night before we'll be playing at Juke's with Charles the Osprey and Cain Marko. It'll be a good weekend to be in Grand Rapids.
Also we are making our way to SXSW this year with Empire! Empire!. We are doing a two and a half week tour there and back March 11th-March 28th. Here are the tentative dates for that. Get at us if you can help with any dates, we will update once we get more confirmed.

Last Name: Ever. First Name: Greatest.
Happy New Year!
Have you emailed us lately? Well, I just got to responding to a bunch of back emails so our apologies if we move slowly sometimes. Working on starting off the new year on the right foot.
We've got two awesome shows this week, including tonight. The World Is A Beautiful Place will be making their way around from Connecticut and we would love to show them a good time. Listen to their stuff today if you have not had a chance.
The week of shows we're putting together for February is coming together nicely - and in record time. The only date we're still in need of help with is the 23rd in Iowa or anywhere between Kansas City, MO and Rockford, IL. Write, call, text, or whathaveyou if you want us to come play your basement, living room, art space, or all-ages friendly bar. We're looking to do most of these dates with Missouri Hardcore Heavyweights Canyons who are rocking a new three-way split LP.
And finally, we will be heading back down to Texas in March with our friends in Empire! Empire! to be a part of South By Southwest for a couple days. Gotta drop by and visit our Austin boys For Want Of for some promising, extra-legal, lifelong memories. We'll have those dates up when we finalize our route and we'll be needing quite a bit of help. If you have any interest in seeing us play somewhere along the way, feel free to email us now and we'll happily work it into our plans.

Do Right And Kill Everything
So we are back from our midwest trip with For Want Of. Although we couldn't make two of the shows happen, we had a blast with our new Texas friends. Many thank yous are in order...
-Our Cloudy boiz, Matt, John and Zach for setting us up one of the best Chicago shows we've played, letting us crash two days in a row and tearing it up as always.
-Jack Senff and the Analecta boys for setting us up a show in South Bend even though the weather prevented it from happening.
-Greg from The Dan Akroyd House for the show, place to crash and letting us get back into his house cause we are a bunch of forgetful assholes.
-Eric and Will in Louisville for setting us up at Skull Alley. We weren't able to make the show because of van troubles but they tried their best to make happen for us.
-Jay at Gas America in Crawfordsville, IN and his brother Tom Ross for being the nicest strangers I've ever met. When our van broke down Jay got a hold of his brother and he fixed our van on the real real cheap in the parking lot of Advanced Auto. Can not thank them enough, they saved us around 800 dollars. Without them we wouldn't have been able to finish the tour.
-Andy at The Monster House for the food, show and awesome place to crash.
-The dudes in Annabel for letting us play their record release show and Corey, Scotty and their room mates for letting us crash at the Kling Thing house and step on people's shoes.
-Victoria and The DAAC for consistently booking us excellent shows in Grand Rapids.
-All the new and old friends we got to see and play with all the nights of tour: The New Yorker, Goose, Sweet Talk, Graphite, Oh! Goliath, Last Legs, Leonard Hatred, Maryn, bst.cr, Drug Money, Into It. Over It., Two Handed Fools, Nigel Thornberry, Boy With Mace, Good Teeth/Gold Teeth and Cain Marko.
-Last but not least the dudes in For Want Of. Without those dudes, we would probably still be stranded in Indiana. They consistently stayed positive and made the tour 100 times more awesome. I'm so glad they could make it to the midwest and become some of our best friends.
Now that is all out of the way. We are excited to announce that this March we will be doing a 2 to 3 week tour with Empire! Empire! to make it down to Texas to play SXSW. So pumped for this and there will be more details about that soon!
Before that happens we are gonna do a little 7 days run out west a little farther then we usually do. If anyone can help us out, get at us. Here are the dates for that:
Feb. 18th: Indianapolis,IN
Feb. 19th: Champaign, IL
Feb. 20th: St. Louis, MO
Feb. 21st: Columbia, MO
Feb. 22nd: Kansas City, MO
Feb. 23rd: Cedar Falls, IA
Feb. 24th: Rockford, IL
